Perdido Key is an unincorporated community located in Escambia County, Florida, between Pensacola and Orange Beach. With its name actually meaning “lost” in Spanish and Portuguese, Perdido Key is a barrier island that’s tucked into a natural, serene environment featuring white sand dunes, beautiful Gulf water, and lots of wetlands, estuaries, and wildlife. The island also features many parks such as Johnson Beach at Gulf Island National Seashore, Perdido Key State Park, and Big Lagoon State Park.
With 16 miles of unspoiled shoreline, Perdido Key offers a variety of condos. Some of the main complexes include Sandy Key, Lost Key Villas, Spanish Key, Beach Colony Resort, Indigo, Windemere, and Ocean Breeze.
